Transfers!

Transfers this week! I get to stay another transfer with my current companion, Elder Bates. Yes!!! I become District Leader as well. It's been a great chance so far to continue to grow and learn how to best help not only our own area but our entire District's area continue to improve.

New people we met and taught this week include: Mr. Zeng and a Mr. Chen.

Last week we met with two 16 year old friends and had a chance to meet with them again this week. It was an amazing lesson. We asked them what they knew about Jesus Christ and they explained to us perfectly who Jesus Christ is and they then went on to explain how after Jesus Christ died the many churches began to split off because they had no leader. After they said that they asked how to know which church is the one with all of God's truth! They literally set up perfectly for us to explain Joseph and the Restoration. The spirit in the lessons was amazing.

We met with Shaun and Tina's family at the start of the week and watched with them Elder Callister's latest General Conference talk, "God's Compelling Witness: The Book of Mormon" and discussed the role and importance of the Book of Mormon. We gave them a promise that if they are willing to humble themselves and read the Book of Mormon every day, and then ask God in prayer if it is true, they will receive an answer. We will be going back to their house tonight and I am super excited to see them.

We met with the Wei family again this week and it went very well. They are the family with two 17 year old boys. At one point in the lesson we were reading a scripture and I looked up for a moment. It kind of hit me that we were sitting there in the house of an amazing family in the middle of no where in Taiwan reading scriptures with them. For some reason such a special feeling came over me. There's no better feeling than teaching families the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It brings so much light to them individually and as a family.
