South Zone on Fire!!!

Last P-Day was super fun!!! We went to the famous 老街 "Old Street" in 九份 JiuFen. It's up on a mountain and absolutely gorgeous, with a lot of different small shops to buy different snacks and Taiwanese souvenirs.

This week Elder Otani and I went on exchages with the AnKang 安康 Elders. I got to go with Elder Gartz! He goes home in 3 weeks and actually his parents own the pizza shop in Provo right off campus named "Slab"...Hoping for free pizza after the mission!!! Hahaha

Our two most progressing friends lately are Angel and Tommy! Angel came to church for the first time this week and the ward absolutely ate her up! She loved it. I'm excited for her to continue to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see the blessings it brings into her life. Tommy set a baptismal date with us this week! After a few very spiritual lessons, his faith and knowledge are really growing. Now it's up to him to do his own part in reading The Book of Mormon and pray about it's truthfulness!

I gave another 15 minute talk in all Chinese this sacrament meeting. Super fun. It's weird how it isn't hard or weird to do that anymore. It was a little bit of a farewell talk to the ward as I'll most likely be leaving this upcoming transfer in about 3 weeks. I hate saying good-bye to people. This ward has changed me and I've loved being able to watch the change in them lately.

The South Zone had 5 baptisms this last week alone. We are at 11 total for this month already. To put it in perspective, for the past year or so the South Zone has averaged roughly 3 baptisms a month. Now, half way through the month, there have already been 11. The work is progressing. Open your mouth and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! You never know who will need to hear it.
