Christmas Every Week?

Now that we get to video call our families every week, it feels like every week is Christmas! Haha, it's super weird, but a huge blessing to be able to hear their voices every week.

Crazy week filled the tons of fun activities. We had a bunch of lessons this week, including ones with Brother Yang 楊, PinCheng 品誠, Pearl, Joy, Silence, Ricco, and then Harry who brought his friend to the lesson with him! Harry is an 18 year old who just graduated from high school and is working as a chef at a local restaurant! He's about 6'3'' and has super good English too. We set up to play basketball with him in a chapel and then give him a tour, and he brought his friend, Tony, to the appointment! We had a fun couple games of basketball and then had an amazing chapel tour. We weren't planning on sharing much about the doctrine of our church during the tour this time, but the questions they asked us led perfectly into the Restoration of the Gospel! We taught them a full lesson on the Restoration and gave them both their own copies of The Book of Mormon. Seeing young men such as these so curious and open to the Gospel is always so special. The spirit is always so present and noticeable in the lessons.

We also had a few members take us out to eat this week. MOST of the food was amazing...but there were a few things that I probably wouldn't eat again unless I was forced to. We had everything from pig forehead skin, to fish eyeball.*videos on Facebook* They really do not waste ANY parts of the animals they eat here...they eat it all!
