Miracles from China

Last Sunday we met two people from who were visiting Taiwan named Coco and Karen. They were in Taiwan for only about a week, and they were baptized! Their story is amazing. They came to Taiwan for a class they had to take and then they had a friend bring them to church. After they attended church for their first time, they came up to us and said that they wanted to be baptized and asked how to do it. We talked with our Mission President and got special permission to baptize them! We met with them everyday during the week and got them ready. These were some of the most spiritual lessons of my mission.
Both Coco and Karen had been SOOO prepared by the Lord. Karen shared multiple testimony building experiences she had, including some dreams she had. A few months ago she started having dreams. In these dreams she would see the numbers 911 over and over. She did not understand what it meant, until the first time she came to church last Sunday. She saw a picture of Jesus Christ being baptized by John the Baptist...and guess what the scriptural reference was right next to the picture? Mark 1:9-11. As soon as she saw the reference 9-11, she knew it was what she had been dreaming of. This is just one of the special experiences that we shared as we taught them over this past week. They are now baptized and confirmed, and return to China tomorrow.

Some other fun things from the week:
We had exchanges with the North Zone Leaders and the XinZhu Zone Leaders this week.
On Wednesday Elder Ellison and I drove to the airport and picked up the new senior couple for our mission! We helped them get moved into their apartment, and bought them breakfast the next day. They are the Ericksons and they are so amazing!
We also met with Mr. Ye 葉 (93 year old who was visited by the member of the 70 last week and accepted an invitation to be baptized by him) this week and he is all ready to be baptized this coming Saturday! His wife, who is a member, is super excited. She has been waiting for this day for many, many years haha.
