Meetings, meetings, meetings!

Since P-Day was on Wednesday last week, there isn't as much to write about as normal. On Wednesday night we drove to the airport and picked up another road of new missionaries (4 this time). Two were from the Philippines, one from Peru, and one from New Zealand. We spent all day
Thursday doing all the orientation things, getting them bikes, money, etc, and then assigned them trainers. My own trainee (Elder Rodriguez) trained this transfer, so it was fun to be there for him to start training a new missionary by himself. It is crazy how time flies.

Friday we had the 6-week followup for all the new missionaries and their trainers who started training last transfer, it went very well! After that meeting we went on exchanges with the Central Zone Zone Leaders. I went with Elder Wang, a native Taiwanese missionary. I learned so much from him, it was such a blast. We had an hour and a half long lesson with one of our friends named Scott. He was so interested and didn't want to leave, so we just kept talking with him! We read two stories in the scriptures, and taught him thoroughly about the Restoration and Plan of Salvation. At the end, he set a baptismal date and committed to come to church!

We had a special chance to start teaching two different girlfriends of these two single guys in our
ward. The lessons are very spiritual and it is so awesome to see these two strong priesthood brethren trying to get their girlfriends to have spiritual experiences.

This upcoming week we will have 4 exchanges, so it will be pretty exhausting, but I'm pumped!
