First week of the last transfer!

So we had transfers last week! My new companion is Elder Weber. It was sad to see Elder Ellison go, I have become such great friends with him throughout the past 2 years...from the MTC till now, and I am excited to room with him at BYU in the fall!

Transfers were crazy because we only got half of our new missionaries in last weekend, and the other half are coming tonight. Preparing transfers so everyone had a companion and area to be in for the few days as we have been waiting for the new missionaries has been a fiasco, but super fun haha. We picked up 4 new missionaries last Saturday morning, and we are picking 4 more up in about an hour.

Elder Weber is absolutely amazing. He has 6 transfers left, so he is rather young for an Assistant, but he is so solid. He was Elder Kelemen's last companion (Elder Kelemen was my breaker), and so it has been even more fun to serve with him because Elder Kelemen played such a huge role in the shaping of both Elder Weber's and my missions.

We did not have p-day on Monday because we had exchanges with the Taidong Zone Leaders before our Mission Leadership Conference. I got to go with Elder Ward again, and it was a blast. This is also his last transfer, so we it was fun to work super hard with him. MLC went super well, we focused on how to use the Book of Mormon to increase the power of our street contacts, lessons, and member visits.

We had stinky tofu with Scott (one of the friends we are teaching) on Saturday, and it actually went super well! One, because the stinky tofu was not as bad as a thought it would be, and two, because we had a great discussion on faith, Alma 32, and he committed to come to church on Sunday! Another friend we are teaching, Eva, set her own baptismal date this week! She said, ''I've been thinking more about baptism lately, and I want to choose my own date''. So amazing! Ryan also reset his baptismal date this week for the same day as Eva!

The work is moving forward!
