Zoo, District Council on a mountain, ToastMasters Round 2, Luke and Grace are baptized!

Packed week! For P-Day this week Brian, Grace, and ChenPeiRu陳姵如 came up from ZhuBei 竹北 to Taipei to go to the zoo. It was super fun! Sadly the Panda exhibit was closed though. :(

This Tuesday we went to MuZha 木柵 for district council and we had district council on the top of a mountain called MaoKong貓空. We took a gondola up and it was a blast. It was even more fun because the MuZha District has Elder Spencer and Sister Larson, both from my MTC District!

Another fun thing we've been doing is every Saturday morning we go and play basketball and frisbee with the youth in the wards around here. One of my favorite things is definitely to spend time with the Youth of the church. The Taiwanese youth are especially awesome.

This week we also had the chance to go to another ToastMasters activity! We went there with our friend Mike who is learning the gospel right now. It was another awesome opportunity to share about what we do as missionaries and about our church in front of a group of people. We got a few setups from the activity, including one awesome 20 year old named Brian that met with us already this week to learn about Jesus Christ!

The highlight of this week was definitely that Luke from here in XinDian 新店 got baptized and Grace from my time back in ZhuBei 竹北 got baptized. Grace was actually found by a Facebook post that I made to advertise English class while I was in ZhuBei. She came to English class and then I met her then and started to share with her the gospel. It's very special to see her change from then to now. She told me that she discovered who she really is...that she's a daughter of God. It's really change perspective on life.
