Last week in 景美 JingMei

Time in 景美 JingMei is coming to a close. The last 6 months here have flown by and I really don't want to leave. It has been so fun to serve in the South Zone as Zone Leader. It's been even more special to be able to be companions with my college classmate and also MTC companion, Elder Otani. Seeing the growth and experiences of all the different missionaries in the South Zone has helped me grow so much in my own testimony of the Gospel as well. In the month of November the South Zone alone helped 12 people enter the waters of baptism. The work is hastening!

Last P-Day there were some members who drove us up to a rural mountain and we got to walk around on some beautiful land. I've missed the quiet countryside. I love living in Taipei city, but it's definitely needed to get out to the countryside now and then.

This week we went to the temple with Rosie and Yvonne for their first time!!! It's one of my favorite things to go with new members to the temple for their first time. The Spirit is so strong.

We had a very spiritual lesson with Aubrey this week. She shared with us some past experiences she's had and some dreams she has had recently. For privacy reasons I won't go in depth, but because of these dreams and experiences she's has, she's realized that she needs to keep meeting with us and coming to church. She doesn't quite understand why yet but she just feels like she must. She came to church for her first time this week and... BROUGHT HER HUSBAND AND SON!!! It was so amazing so be able to sit there with a full family for their first time at church. I don't want to leave this area!!!!

This week we also had one of our missionary choir concerts. It was a blast to sing in a choir again, something I haven't down for years now. It brought back a lot of fun memories, and most importantly it brought a lot of Christmas spirit! It is super fun to show be able to show the new "Light the World" videos as a missionary. They're so powerful!
