Last week of 2018

Quick week with P-Day on last Tuesday for Christmas. We had lessons with all our must progressing investigators this week. Some of the most memorable were with Li Jia Zhen, Sun 孫 Family, and Arthur! 

Li Jia Zhen has already said she wants to be baptized but is just working through some family opposition right now. 

The Sun 孫 family is doing everything a typical active member would do, including paying tithing! They're current struggle is they were already baptized previously in another church and don't think they need to be baptized again. 

Arthur is a college student here in HuaLian 花蓮 and this week he set up his baptismal interview!! If he passes this week, he'll be baptized next Saturday. His story is super awesome, I'll have to tell it my email when he gets baptized. 

On Friday we had a Elder's Quorum activity were we all ate Hot Pot 火鍋 together and watched "17 Miracles"! It was super fun. We had two investigators come and it was a good experience to teach them of some of the early history of our church. 

I've loved my time in HuaLian 花蓮 so far. Being on the country side feels a lot more calm, clean, and like home than the city. It feels like I'm on a vacation and then I also get to talk about Jesus Christ everyday!
