Priesthood Power

Brother June will be baptized next Sunday, June 17th! 

Brother Bryan got the priesthood this week! He's preparing to baptize our other investigator, June, next Sunday. I'm so excited to be here to see one of my converts baptize another convert. It's going to be a spiritual baptismal service.

Mrs. Huang has been taught all the lessons and is living everything...except for baptism. For now her husband is not allowing her to be baptized. We'll continue to ponder how to help soften her husband's heart. 

Marlito is one of our Filipino investigators who is progressing slowly. He works a ton of part-time jobs to save for his future right now and is super busy. The biggest thing for him is being willing to take the time to receive his own testimony and come to church.

Brother Jeff continues to slowly progress. He also needs to be willing to take the time sacrifice necessary to receive all the blessings and answers from the Lord that he's waiting for.

We met with Chen Pei Ru again and she is doing awesome. Lately we haven't taught anything new. We've only read the Book of Mormon with her and helped her understand it more. She is finally willing to read The Book of Mormon and pray, which she wasn't willing to do before. She'll finally start to receive her own answer from the Holy Ghost of the truthfulness of these things as she's willing to take this time to read and pray.

Brother Ross continues to do awesome and is preparing to receive the Priesthood July 1st too. It's going to be an awesome summer!

Other new investigators we found this week: 27 year old Mr. Chen, Filipino Bert, 28 year old who's English is awesome Johnny, Dennis friend of Fan Zhi Liang.

Elder Daniel Smith 施德臻長老
