Back-to-Back Exchanges, Climbed a Mountain, Marched in a Parade

I don't need to add much more, the title explains it all haha.

The week started off with first going on exchanges with the 新店 XinDian Elders and then the 安康 AnKang Elders. I went with Elder Brunette and then Elder Velasco. They are both in their second transfer of their mission and have a ton of fire!! I went to their area for the exchanges to give them experience leading out their own area before finishing training at the end of this transfer. Highlight of the exchange with Elder Brunette was teaching the Plan of Salvation to 家弘 JiaHong and having Elder Brunette lead out the whole lesson! Highlight of the exchange with Elder Velasco was riding about an hour up a mountain to find a less active member who ended up not being home...It was a super funny experience haha.

Probably the coolest part of the week was this past Saturday! We went up to a huge parade in the northern part of Taiwan in 淡水 DanShui. They were celebrating the opening of a new portion of the subway there were thousands of people who attended and probably close to 30 different groups that participated in walking through the parade. Somehow, someone got our church a spot in one of these 30 teams! The church ward up there also created a float of the Book of Mormon and had their ward dress up as characters from the Book of Mormon. We had our Mission President about 20 missionaries come up to participate in the parade. It was a blast walking for about an hour through crowds of people as we gave high drives and fliers out to tons and tons of people. One of the most cool experiences of my mission!

Our two most progressing friends are doing super well right now. Rosie and Theo 信毅. They both come to church right now and are both in track to get baptized next month!
