Super fun week! It started off with last P-Day. We got President's permission to wake up at about 2 am and go on a car ride up to the top of the mountain with a couple members (Alex and Luke). It was an amazing feeling to get out of the city for a while. When we first got to the top of the mountain it was pitch black and super foggy. It made for an awesome experience.
This week flew by once again. We went on exchanges with the MuZha 木柵 Elders, and I got to go with Elder Li 李, who is a Taiwanese missionary on his first transfer of his mission. It was a blast! We saw a ton of miracles, had an activity with the youth of the stake in which we all went together to had at Free English Class flies, and then also taught a few lessons.
We had a very spiritual lesson with Rosie this week. She's been trying to decide whether or not she wants to be baptized. Near the end of the lesson she asked us what has been the biggest contributor to our testimonies of the Gospel. I had the chance to talk about how throughout the time on my mission I've seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ change people. I've seen people lives turn around. I've seen a new light appear in their eyes as they come to know they are a child of God and are baptized. It was such a special chance to show her pictures of people I've met and tell her about experiences I had with them as they came unto Christ. Which, by far, is what has strengthened my testimony the most. Rosie told us that she's made the decision to be baptized. Right now it is planned for November 3rd. She's come to far, it's such a special thing to see.
XinYi 信毅 (our friend from Hong Kong staying here for school) will be reviewing the baptismal interview questions with us tonight. We're so pumped for JingMei 景美 to see multiple baptisms after not having any for over a year. We can start to feel the fire and motivation of the ward changing as it all happens too. That's the best part, to see the joy, happiness, and testimony of not only these people we are teaching grow, but also our members.
This will be the last full week of the transfer so Elder Otani and I are excited to work super hard. We have two exchanges with two companionships from ZhongHe 中和 this will make the week fly by even quicker, there is just not enough time!
