Exchages with the APs, General Conference!

Last P-Day we went to another Buddhist temple and had a friend give us a free tour. It was a new sect of Buddhism that was founded only a few years ago. It was interesting to hear her explain their beliefs and helped me realize a few things we can improve on as teachers of our own message.

To start this week we went on exchanges with the APs. I got to go with Elder Raley and Elder Otani went with Elder Peterson. It was a super fun experience such awesome missionaries. It's always fun to be able to go on exchanges with such powerful veterans!

We also got to watch General Conference this week. It's watched a week later here in Taiwan due to time difference and translation. It was inspiring to hear the prophets and apostles words! There's nothing like watching General Conference as a missionary. I loved the focus on us needing to be Shepards and feed the Lord's sheep.

We saw some awesome miracles this week with finding new friends to teach. Some of which included a 25 year old man from Indonesia, and high school student named Eric, and a dad/son (we are meeting the mom and daughter this upcoming week).

Our two most progressing friends right now had an amazing week. 信毅 XinYi and Rosie. Rosie cooked us her homemade 牛肉麵 beef noodles at her house this week. It turns out she's a super good chef! The coolest part is our Relief Society President called her up and now has her in charge of an activity teaching all the sisters how to cook a few different things next week! 信毅 XinYi (our friend from Hong Kong working towards baptism right now) is also doing super well and is starting to meet a lot of friends in the ward. We arranged a dinner with him, 凱凱 KaiKai,and 子耀 ZiYao that went really well this week. His current goal for baptism is the 3rd of next month!
